I really had begun to think that maybe it wasn't our time for another member of our family. In fact, three days before I got the positive test, I told Mark I absolutely wasn't pregnant this month (how different than when I was pregnant the first time and just *knew* it.) The funny test story went like this-
Take the pregnancy test- line wicks across and it isn't instantly positive- throw it in the trashcan and jump in the shower.
Jump out of the shower a few minutes later and pick up test out of trash can - oh! a line....?
Do not go to the bathroom for an excruciating four hours so that the next test will be accurate.
Take the next test and - ta da! it's REALLY positive. Say a prayer of thanks.
I feel pretty good right now. 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant with an EDD of Feb 10th. A little nausea comes and goes but nothing too bad yet. Just praying that we'll meet this baby in eight months.
Baby, you are long awaited and prayed for. I am humbled that you have chosen me as your mother. I hope that you are ready to enter our crazy family. Sarah Grace is SUPER excited for your arrival. When asked what SG was going to do with "our" baby she said "Teach it say 'Get down Berry!'" We can't wait to tell our family our big secret!
