Your first Christmas went splendidly. You went to service with us on Christmas Eve and Nana, Grandpa and I took turns holding you. You were really quiet but played with your toys. I'll be glad when we put away the Christmas tree so that we can get the big gate system out of the living room.
You were happy that there were presents but needed your sister to help you open them. You received a rocking horse, a wooden nativity set, a push toy, some clothes, really all in all much more than any baby needs. You are very blessed. You also got a really stinkin' cool wooden train. You've been playing with that and your push toy the most. Well, aside from your pop-up playhouse that was a gift to you and your sister from your Uncle Dave and Aunt Rachel. You REALLY think that thing is cool and crawl through the tunnels and play in the balls in there.
You wore a sweet little "My First Christmas" outfit and your reindeer hat, too. I need to make the appointment for you to get your first Christmas pictures taken. I think I will make that appointment this weekend. You deserve some pictures, dude. I got a new phone for Christmas and I'm loving using it to take candid shots of you. You're so dapper, though, that I bet you'll look great in some formal pictures.
