Your father's proudest moment may have been you pointing at the TV last night (you love to point) and saying "Ball! Ball!" Then looking at your dad and saying "Dada! Ball! Ball!" He was trying to teach you to say "Go Spurs!" That didn't quite happen.
You still really love to give big open-mouth kisses and snuggles. You are still battling this diaper rash. It looks terrible and makes me feel like a crappy mom. You've been wearing disposable diapers for about a month as we've tried every cream, ointment and prescription on the market. You're even taking an oral medication and it's just not going away. I told the doctor that I promise we are not negligent. You don't sit in wet diapers. It's just so sad!
Also - when we go out it's cold. I mean, it's January in Kentucky. It's cold. So I make you wear a hat. You always try to take off your hat. But I learned that if I hold down your hands and say "No" you will pout and then not touch your hat. So I taught this trick to Daddy. He thought it was hilarious and said it sounded funny to scold a 10-month-old. Still, it works. Now if we could only do the same with your older sister.
